How i came to knit...

It's always an interest to find out how people came to be so involved in knitting and crochet. For me it's quite a personal journey.

After gaining an MA in fine arts i became struck down with an awful condition known as chronic fatigue syndrome.
Unable to do most of the basic life tasks without becoming severely exhausted for almost 1 year, my health thankfully started to improve.

anchorages first yarn bomb

well after carrying around a peace for 9 months I did it ! anchorage alaska just got its first yarn bomb . Me and my mom put it in cutty park( it is next to a nice pond . I am suprised that this has not made it to here before this , long winter nights have a way of making is all a little crazy. I am working on a new one , and mom is going to get in on it . Mom is in a wheelchair so we should be safe from the police .Well we are going to the park ,so I need to go.

knitting in the park - kings cross (sydney)

was a great group of knitters in the park in Kings Cross today. all knitting for the I heart Kings Cross project. learnt some new stitches and spoke to lots of cool people. we'll be there every sat in september. was great that some people just walked by and sat down and joined in - including a woman on holidays from Taiwan who has a knitting group there. she was a fast knitter too! it was pretty windy towards the end - I think I'm wearing half of Kings Cross now as the wind stirred up the dirt h… Continue
